This is the story of my journey - Told in real time
This is my story - I am still not sure where it ends. After being chucked out of life as I knew it at 38 years old, left without any of the stability I had been building, and left with all the responsibility. The person I believed in most, became my villian- I had to find my way again. In my darkest moments, I led my team to a new home, and I wish I could say the hardest part was behind me. But the truth is, I have a long way to go.
I invite you to come with me on this journey, wherever it leads. I believe this is the part in the story that most people don't talk about. The continued exhaustion of trying to keep finding your way through.
I am not sure how this story will end. But I can promise you it will be raw, unfiltered, and have some fun moments along the way.
About me
I thought I knew the path I was on. I was building a farm I believed would be mine—until, overnight, it was gone. I had to keep going, because staying busy was easier than facing something I couldn’t change. I had to find them a home again, quickly, and forge a new path, for me, and for everyone. I thought getting the new place would be the hard part. I was wrong.
The real work is still ahead. Because now I have the opportunity to make it—and that’s a weight I’m learning to carry.
All of my dreams were of one place. I never pictured anything else.
